	abstract = {The immunological response.such as the levels of lymphocyte response to PHA and schistosome adult worm antigen (SAWA), the T cell helper activity as well as IgM released from antibody forming cells. in mice infected with S. japonicum were increased after treatment with praquantel. The immunosuppressive effects of infected hosts were improved after praziquantel. The results suggested that the cellular immunity may involve and modulate in the lethal mech anism of praziquantel on the schistosome.},
